Overview

Weddings

CONGRATULATIONS! Your wedding will be one of the happiest, most important days of your life. The institution of marriage is more than just a social contract. It is an act of worship where your vows are made not only to each other, but also to God. We appreciate your interest in having your wedding ceremony at Christian Life Church.

Dr. Hugh Bair, Senior Pastor will perform all weddings or designate an alternate minister in the case of a conflict with his schedule.

Premarital counseling is a prerequisite for couples that plan to be married at Christian Life Church. We also have a wedding coordinator who will advise and assist you on the various procedures of our church. Please visit the Pastor’s Office for an appointment.

Funerals

A funeral is the customary way to recognize death and its finality. Funerals are established rituals for the living to show respect for the dead and to help survivors begin the grief process. Our aim at Christian Life Church is to work with the bereaved, by providing sensitive, effective intervention during a time of emotional need.

Furthermore, we will plan, make arrangements, organize and direct the funeral ceremony for you, as well as coordinate with the funeral director.

We exhibit sensitivity and Christian compassion to those who are bereaved. We will be there for you when you call us in the time of your need.

Baby Dedications

The dedication of children is a worship service. The vows made at the altar are a challenge to the parents for life and a constant reminder of their obligation to the child, to God, and the church.

The object is to recognize the child as God’s blessing and gift to the family and congregation and to covenant together for the well-being of the child. It is to ask for God’s guidance and blessings in the daily acts of parenting.

At Christian Life Church, the coming of a new born child into our worship services always brings joy. The child’s life and presence brightens the home. If you would like to evoke the blessing and anointing of God on your child’s life, please call the church office for an appointment.

Water Baptism

Matthew 28:19, “… baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost,” at which time Jesus also gave the command, “go ye therefore, and teach all nations.”

Baptism is for both men and women (Acts 8:12 ). Water Baptism is not optional for believers, it is mandated in the word of God.

Water Baptismal classes are provided at Christian Life Church and taught by one of our ministers. If you feel mandated by the word of God to be baptized, please stop by the Pastor’s Office to schedule a time for you to be baptized.
